Salado History

From a modest beginning in 1859, Salado has become a center of retail growth, the home of many renowned artists. Salado is home to many historic homes and buildings. Many have been converted into pleasing and desirable bed and breakfast locations, office space and retail space

The Economic Development Committee of the Village of Salado is working hard to accomodate the growth and preserve the wonderful history of this area.
