VILLAGE OF SALADO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR 2027 ANNUAL BUDGET

The Village of Salado will hold a public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Budget at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Salado Municipal Building, 301 N. Stagecoach, Salado, TX 76571.

The proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $79,699 or 4.30% and of that amount $127,353 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
The public is encouraged to attend and express their views at this hearing.

The public is also encouraged to review the Village’s proposed budget on the Village of Salado website at
www.saladotx.gov under the News and Announcements tab. A paper copy of the budget may be viewed in the City Secretary’s office at 301 N. Stagecoach, Salado, TX 76571.
